Ross Hope
Ross
Hope sings and plays guitar in Brisbane indie-rock
giants Iron On. He also melts hearts and makes boys
and girls go weak at the knees. Well, he does that
to us…
Ross
has recently earnt comparisons to Death Cab For
Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Screamfeeder's Tim Steward.
Not bad, eh? Perhaps it's the mixture of earnest,
straight-from-the-heart lyrics with a vocal delivery
that's as much emotive as it is energetic.
It
was Ross's simple bathroom recordings that initially
inspired the Book Club Quiet Time split EP series.
When we heard them we asked him what he was planning
on doing with them. He shrugged his shoulders, so
we just had to step in. There was no way we were
letting his songs go to waste.
