Kate Cooper

Kate Cooper might look small, but she packs one mighty songwriting punch. Narrowing in on subtle moments, gestures and feelings, Kate tackles songs from unexpected angles. In fact, sometimes it's hard to know what she's singing about. But she sings her lines with so much belief and with so much of herself in them, you can't help but be drawn into her world.

When Kate's not recording the Quiet Time Vol.2 EP for Book Club she's playing and singing in Brisbane indie-rock quartet Iron On. Either that, or she's working in a record store (that's how cool she is!) or watching Woody Allen films. She may or may not be married to actor Owen Wilson.
